All Australian workplaces are required to provide appropriate first aid equipemtn available and accessible to all employees.

A High Risk Workplace describes a working environment that exposes workers to hazards that could result in serious injury or illness and would require first aid.

For example:

  • Use of hazardous machinery or substances onsite
  • Risk of falls
  • Hazardous forms of work
  • Extreme temperature working environments
